#13 Looking for Alaska by John Green (Start April 4 - fin April 5, 2012)
It doesn’t took me long to finish this book. This is the 2nd John Green’s books that I’ve read and so far I like his writing. It is sad, touching but very meaningful. The story is simple, interesting yet very deep. Alaska is a young girl who might look tough in front of every one but she has a dark past that she couldn’t let go of. The biggest problem here is She couldn’t forgive herself for what happened to her Mom. So her question..How to get out of this labyrinth of suffering?? the key is forgiveness. It’s sad that in the end they have to lose her but at least She left something for her friends. Can’t wait to read next John Green’s books…

#12 A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin (Fin April 4, 2012)
I finally managed to finished this novel 2 days ago after spending long time reading it. I’m a big fan of A Song of Ice and Fire series..both books and series..as you all might have known that it is a an epic fantasy story. This is the 2nd book in the series and the tv show is airing right now..I love everything about this series and each character brings different stories in the book so it will never get boring..and I like a book which can take me away and made me feel like I’m in a completely new world. This is what this book is doing exactly. Can’t wait to read the next book but later bcos I have a lot of other books to read hehehe..

#10 The Fault in Our Stars by John Green (Start - Fin March 4, 2012)
I finished this book once I started reading it. Well I kinda know that this book won’t have a happy ending but reading it terrifies me. You would never know unless you’re there. How terrified they must be everyday thinking that they might die anytime. But still in the midst of all of it, they still try to live their life their own way. Hazel found Augustus, the guy who took her breath away, the guy whom he fell in love with even when they both know they are both fighting for their life. They know they’ll end up hurting because one of them could die anytime because of their cancer. Yet they still embark on the journey. In the end he left first but they both don’t have regret because just like what Gus said in the book “You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.” and I think she did.
What a beautifully written book about a cancer surviving patients. It shows how much we have to be grateful of our life because they’re a lot of people living their worst nightmare, terrified every day of their life. No one deserves it but it’s life. It’s not fair, it’s never gonna be fair, we just have to live it.

#9 Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (Start Feb 24, 2012 - Fin March 3, 2012)
I finished reading this book like 3AM in the morning..I couldn’t stop reading the last 3 chapters. At first I’m not so sure I like this novel that much but then the story change and it got more and more interesting. It’s a story about a girl who’s given a chance to relive her last day over and over again. Actually it was more about doing the right thing before you died. She relived it for 7 times before she finally did the right thing and I think in the end she didn’t have any regret that she had to die. Because she actually was given a chance and she had helped a lot of people.
It made u realize that the decision u made determines who you are and what’s ur life is gonna be. One bad decision can change your whole life and if given a chance we should live our life doing the right thing for everybody around us so we won’t have any regret.
It was a great novel overall and the storyline is very unique but it is heartbreaking and inspirational as well. Well off to the next book then ^^
I finally got The Fault in Our Stars by John Green yippie..
it’s the last one in the book store here.. can’t wait to read it ^^

#8 Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer (Fin Feb 24, 2012)
I forgot when I started to read it but probably around the beginning of Feb but I didn’t really get into it until the last few days..
this book is different, it is beautiful and it is heartbreaking..I’ve read varied reviews about this book, some loved it and some hated it. I loved it..although I got confused in some parts of the book but the point of this book is the journey. He was trying to stay close with his Dad who died in 911 tragedy and he was just trying to find a reason to relate to him by finding a lock that fits the key he found in his Dad’s belonging. It was his way to cope with his Father’s death and also I think it’s his way to make up for the fact that he didn’t pick up his Dad’s last phone call. He was too afraid to pick it up because inside he knew he was going to lose his Dad. He just wish to turn back things so his Dad would be safe with him now.
He finally found the lock he was looking for but it wasn’t meant for him but in that process of 8 months he went door to door to search for the lock. turns out the owner of the key is the loud guy in the 1st apartment he went into to talk to a stranger about that key. It was a damn coincidence but I guess he was meant to find the key and he was meant to return it to that person on his Dad’s behalf because that person was looking for it and it was something his father left for him.
well in the end it was heartbreaking but he gets to spend times with different people including his own Grandpa that he didn’t know of.
It is indeed a great book..definitely worth my time..
